Launched in 2010, the Calibre de Cartier collection debuted Cartier's own in-house calibers, marking a significant departure from using movements sourced from external manufacturers like Jaeger-LeCoultre. Available in a 42mm case size for a sporty style or a smaller 38mm case size for a more versatile unisex appeal, Calibre models come in stainless steel, white, pink, and yellow gold and are distinguished by their round case shape, Roman numerals and blue faceted spinel or diamond on the crown. The collection also offers various high-end functional features like chronographs, tourbillons, and perpetual calendars. Specific models, like the Calibre de Cartier Diver, are water-resistant up to 300 meters and feature a unidirectional bezel and Superluminova for visibility. The Chronograph models feature the advanced 1904-CH MC movement, which combines technical excellence and elegant styling through a clear sapphire glass case back.
