Building on the success of the RM 001, the RM 002 takes Richard Mille's watchmaking skills to the next level with innovative additions. This model retains the iconic tonneau-shaped case but introduces the first torque indicator in the watchmaking world. Similar to a car’s gearbox, this indicator allows wearers to switch between winding, neutral, and hand-setting modes without pulling the crown. The watch features a titanium baseplate and a sapphire crystal back, showing the detailed, open-worked movement. A manual winding tourbillon movement with a variable inertia balance wheel powers the RM 002. This advanced mechanism ensures more consistent timekeeping and reduces the need for frequent adjustments, making it ideal for sports enthusiasts. The collection is crafted from high-end materials, including versions with precious metals and gemstones.
