The Richard Mille RM-056 is a masterpiece of watchmaking, named for its innovative use of sapphire to create a clear and durable case. This extremely limited-edition masterpiece, with only five pieces produced, has a manual-winding tourbillon movement that includes hours, minutes, seconds, a split-second chronograph, and a 30-minute totalizer, as well as indicators for power reserve, torque, and function. Each element of the case—front bezel, caseband, and back—is treated with an anti-glare coating to enhance optical properties. Each RM-056 copy took over 1,000 hours to make, with 430 hours spent on detailed machining and 350 hours polishing. This extensive craftsmanship speaks to its rarity and truly exclusive status.
