About the RM 61

The Richard Mille RM 61-01 Yohan Blake, inspired by the RM 59-01 Tourbillon designed for the Olympic sprinter Yohan Blake, showcases a TZP-N ceramic case with an asymmetrical design and an NTPT® carbon caseband, tailored specifically for elite athletes. It houses the caliber RMUL2, a highly skeletonized grade 5 titanium movement treated with PVD and Titalyt® for durability, visible through a sapphire crystal. The green and yellow accents reflect Blake’s Jamaican heritage. The movement can withstand over 5,000 Gs and includes a free-sprung balance with variable inertia. The distinct asymmetrical case shape between 2 and 5 o’clock prevents the crown from contacting the sprinter’s wrist during activity. The RM 61-01 also features a 55-hour power reserve, hand-painted green flying bridges, and large crown protectors, enhancing both its ruggedness and security during high-intensity use.
